The following is an idea for a series titled “Anna's Revenge”.
Logline: Left for dead by her companions, a young woman accepts a deal with a mysterious entity, in order to get her revenge.
Video 1 — “Prelude”:
Anna wakes up at the bottom of a ravine, surrounded by twisted, crooked trees. She should be dead—she knows this—but somehow, she isn't. Slowly, memories begin to surface, flashing before her eyes: the betrayal by her sorority sisters, who envied her and didn’t want her to become the new House President. They had ******* her, intending only to incapacitate her, but instead, they caused an overdose. Panicked, they disposed of her body by throwing it off a tall cliff, hoping to escape any consequences.
Anna opens her eyes fully. Her naked body is cradled by the gnarled branches of a tree, as if they are holding her in a grotesque embrace. Confusion and fear swell within her, but before she can react, a shadowy figure approaches. It is a tall, hooded entity. Its face is a slick, decaying mask, exuding the stench of death. Its eyes, hollow and black, seem to draw in the light, revealing nothing but darkness within.
“I saved you,” the figure intones in a deep, resonant voice. “I brought you back to life.”
Anna tries to move, to speak, but her body is weak, almost lifeless. The menacing figure circles her, its gaze predatory, like a leopard studying its prey.
“I did this, so I could have a way out of this cursed land,” the entity continues. “And so you could have your life back.”
Anna struggles to comprehend. “Who are you?” she manages to whisper, still trying to stand.
“You can call me… the Lord of the Leeches,” the figure responds, its voice dripping with malice.
Suddenly, Anna is flooded with memories of the betrayal. Olivia, the current House President, had led the charge, with Nikki and Luna as her willing accomplices.
“I know that more than life itself, revenge is what you desire… isn’t it, Anna?” the entity hisses.
“What do you want from me?” Anna asks, her voice trembling with a mix of fear and desperation.
“I want to grant you the revenge you crave,” the Lord of the Leeches replies, stepping closer. “But in return, you must host me. And give me… food.” The last word is whispered, carrying a chilling finality, like a funeral dirge.
Anna tries to move again, but her body is still too weak to obey.
“Will I get my life back?” she asks, her voice barely above a whisper. “Will I make them pay for what they did?”
The Lord of the Leeches grins, revealing yellowed, razor-sharp teeth. Sensing her acceptance, he begins to wither and shrink, his tall form collapsing into the tattered black robe he wears. From within the folds, dozens of leech-like creatures emerge, slithering toward Anna.
The leeches crawl over her body, slipping into every orifice. But merely entering isn’t enough—they must explore her, make her body willingly accept them. Only then will they truly inhabit her as their new host. As they invade her, Anna’s eyes widen with a mix of horror and something far more primal. Finally, her body convulses, overwhelmed by a surge of sensation. At that moment, she and the leeches become one.
With the pact sealed, Anna feels truly alive once more. Strength floods her limbs, and she begins to climb out of the ravine, ascending back into the world of the living. At the top, she pauses and looks back at the dark, twisted landscape from which she emerged. The sun is rising on the horizon, casting long shadows across the land. She knows it is time to return home—and to begin her vengeance.
