It’s late at night and a girl is driving on a dark road in the middle of nowhere without another car in sight. She passes a road sign saying “Roswell 50 miles.” She talks on the phone to her roommate, saying that she will be driving through the night to get home, but shortly after the call cuts out. She looks at her phone which says no service, sighs, and puts it away. Unbeknownst to her, a flying saucer silently hovers over her car as she drives. A beam of light shines down from the saucer onto the car. Inside the car, the light is blinding and the screen fades to white.
When she regains consciousness, she is lying naked on a medical table in a white room with bright lights shining down on her. Two humanoid figures stand over her, examining her as she has sensors and probes placed on her head and body. She fades in and out of consciousness, but makes out that the figures, are not human: grey skin, big eyes, very tall, etc. In between fading in and out of consciousness, she is aware that a scan is taken of her entire body. The figures speak but she cannot understand what they are saying.
The beings detach the probes from her head and body and leave the room, though she can make them out behind a glass observation wall to one side. The beings push a button the wall closest to her feet opens. It is dark beyond the wall but tentacles emerge and begin crawling on the floor toward her.
