Preface - A Cosmic Horror inspired story : A cult of townspeople in a wooded and isolated area worship a tentacled leviathan deity that fell from the skies hundreds of years ago. Preying on unsuspecting backpackers and tourists, the townspeople sacrifice them to their god. Once sacrificed the victims are sexually enslaved to worship their new god as well for all of eternity.
Episode 1: Welcome to the Village of The Fallen Star – Starring Leana Lovings
Going against the wishes of her friends and family Leana is determined to take a backpacking trip alone.... Even though her friends and family warned her of traveling the countryside and forest trails alone, it had always been a passion of Leanas. Meeting new people and visiting new places was a dream and finally taking this backpacking journey would be worth it. Of course everyone over stated the dangers of traveling alone she thought, she could take care of herself and she knew it.
A few weeks into her journey finds Leana in the middle of the woods and beginning to get a bit worried. Packing up her gear and tent from the campsite she begins her day. She had been hiking off trail for a day and a half now but believed according to the map she should soon be running back into the trail near the trailhead where she could get back to the comfort of an inn for some tasty food and hot shower. She was determined not to have to camp out in the woods again, it was a foolish idea to go off trail but at the time she had been confident. Now though, even though she didn't want to admit it, panic was starting to set in. God what an unbelievably stupid idea she thought, please let me get out of this. Pushing her way through branches and checking her map what feels like every other second Leana pressed on. Just as she is at the cusp of desperation Leana breaks through a thicket into a clearing to behold a small and secluded town that looks and feels lost to time. Old rickety buildings scattered around a plot of farmed earth growing a variety of vegetables. At the center of the town stands a church, at its steeple an odd and rickety stone statue, that if she didn't know any better looked like tentacles in the shape of a cross.
Bizarre Leana thinks, nowhere on the map does this town exist and in the middle of the woods like this, what in the world is up with this. Nonetheless here it was, small and quaint with people working on various chores of an old village. Even with the oddity of it all Leana only felt one thing, relief. A smile cracking on her face for the first time in a couple days she briskly walks to one of the residents. Half hysterical from the endeavor Leana explains her situation to the woman. Luckily for Leana the woman is nothing but kind and caring, listening intently to Leana’s story. The woman calms Leana and directs her to the inn, explaining there are no direct roads to the town nor any phone service but they do have a radio and will call for an escort to lead Leana back to the trail and civilization in the morning. Though she would rather that happen now, beggars can't be choosers and Leana agrees to spend the night in the village until the escort can arrive.
In the middle of the night Leana is in bed, worn from the hellish past day and a half. Unbeknownst to her hooded figures in dark purple robes enter the room. Multiple hands grab Leana before she even has time to realize what is happening; she is pulled out of the room and into night.
Struggling in their arms Leana is carried into the woods, begging her captors to stop and release her. She is told to hush, and that all will be alright, soon she will meet the dark star and all her destiny will be realized. She is carried to a deep crater in the middle of the woods, a deep purple glow emanates from the crater, all around the crater stand more of the villagers, also hooded and chanting to their deity. The hooded figures dump Leana next to the crater and she quickly struggles to her knees, she begins to try to stand to get away but is grabbed by one of the hooded figures who turns her head, forcing Leana to stare into the crater its eerie glow. Frozen with fear Leana stares attempting to struggle and look away but the longer she stares the more alluring the light becomes. Against all her understanding Leana becomes drawn to the glow like a moth to a flame. Even though she desperately wants to run away, her body defies her. Slowly she begins to crawl towards the crater, closer and closer to the light and the deep pit, the chanting growing louder and louder before she falls into the pit.
She hits the bottom, expecting a hard rocky death, but instead she lands on soft, wet ground. Pulling her arms up she realizes not only is the ground wet but it is a sticky white slime. The glow emanates from all around her covering herself and the walls in the deep purple hue. The lair is large in size, looking up Leana sees only darkness, how far had she possibly fallen. Twenty meters ahead there is a large crevice in the stone wall where the source of the light comes from, glowing at its brightest. In that light though looms a shadow, a massive shadow of a massive figure. Indescribable and nothing of this world. A tentacle springs forward from the light wrapping around Leanas legs and pulling her toward the Leviathan. Clawing at the ground Leana tries to escape but is inevitably taken by the creature.
Once claimed by the monster, tentacles reach out from everywhere grabbing and latching on to Leana, she continues desperately to fight away from the creature but all in vain. The creature wraps around her arms, legs, and throat pulling her upright to face the monster. Forcing its tentacles into her mouth she continues to struggle as it ravages its way down her throat and through her body. The creature reveals its face, glowing eyes and mouth of purple hypnotizing light. The light begins to strobe, and with every strobe Leanas defiance crumbles. Uncontrollably she begins to stroke the tentacles, suck on the tentacles, beg for the tentacles as they enter every part of her. She succumbs to the creature and terror turns to pure bliss… this trip was all she ever wanted… it was her destiny.. and now she belongs to the fallen star forever.
