Dissection [Parasited]

What happens when a group of female scientists attempt to cut open a parasite out of curiosity to examine its internal workings? Well, probably nothing expected or controllable that does result in them all being compromised by a particularly virulent strain of infectious lesbomania.

Are these parasites in fact themselves the hosts to other smaller infectious parasites inside of them? Do they release something biochemical when cut open? Does each piece regenerate into its own entirely separate parasite? Is this particular parasite perhaps pregnant & does it release eggs into the air that they respirate but eventually hatch after a certain period of time? Or is there something else unexpectedly dangerous about performing such a dissection on them? 🤔
